Senate President Bukola Saraki has gone into hiding immediate after the Code of Conduct tribal ordered his arrest for his utter disregard for the Tribunal. Speaking from his safe haven, he has described the call for his arrest by the Tribunal on Friday as an abuse of rule of law. “The Tribunal today left nobody in doubt that it cannot do justice on the matter before it. The tribunal has equally set a bad precedent in the way and manner it conducted itself during the proceedings. “We want to emphasise the fact that this is not part of any war against corruption but using state institutions to fight political opponents. Since the death of Miss Oluchi Anekwe, a third-year Accounting student at the University of Lagos, the university’s Medical Centre has remained the subject of widespread criticism and ridicule. Both the students of the university and members of the Anekwe family have insisted that Oluchi who was rushed to the Medical Centre in a taxi was alive at the time she arrived the hospital, and would have in fact survived had the medical officials attended to her promptly. A retired police officer has revealed some shocking details ,claiming 2pac is still alive. David Myers, who is in a critical medical condition in hospital, claims he was paid $1.5 million to help the star fake his own death. Tupac Shakur, or 2Pac as he was known on stage,after he was hit in a drive-by shooting back in 1996 when he was just 25. The trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki for "false declaration of assets" commenced at the code of conduct tribunal in Abuja on Friday as the tribunal has ordered. Saraki refused to appear in person as ordered by the code of conduct tribunal but was represented by his lawyer, Mahmud Magaji. It appears he is hiding behind the directive by a federal high court asking the Tribunal and Saraki to appear for justification of the case on Monday. Consequently, the federal government prosecuting counsel, M.S. Hassan, has asked the court to with immediate effect issue a bench warrant for the arrest of Saraki. He told the Tribunal that Saraki, for failing to respect a competent court, should be arrested within the next two hours by the police authority in Abuja and brought to court immediately. Fuji star, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma has reacted to the suspension of a Redeemed Church Pastor, Toyin Ogundipe who was said to have paid him to perform at a crusade slated to hold in one of the parishes in Lagos Island. The Fuji star declared that, although, the church’s management paid for the show, it is never done to expect him to pay back the “artiste fee” saying, “the fault is not ours, we were ready to perform for them until we learnt of the cancelation of the crusade”. City People  reports that,the Pastor in charge of Province 20 of the Redeemed Church had invited Pasuma to perform at the Church’s forthcoming crusade titled, “Lagos Island Family Areas Forum” between Friday, October 23rd- Sunday 25th, 2015.
